Built for Leinster

What Dublin projects need us to get right.

The local rules and realities we design for from the first call.

01

GDPR and the Data Protection Commission

Dublin work sits under the EU GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, enforced by the Data Protection Commission. We collect only what a feature needs, document each processor, and build consent, export and deletion into the product rather than bolting them on.

02

Accessibility and the European Accessibility Act

The European Accessibility Act applies to many consumer digital services from June 2025, and whether your product falls inside it is a call for your own advisers. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard operation, contrast, visible focus, form errors that explain themselves, and screen reader passes before anything ships.

03

English with Irish alongside

Dublin runs in English, and Irish is an official language. We structure content and routes so an Irish version can be added without a rebuild, set language attributes correctly, and keep string files tidy. Bilingual EN/FR delivery is available as well.

Hosting in Ireland or the wider EU

Where residency matters we deploy to Irish or other EU cloud regions, keep backups in the same area, and write down every service that touches personal data. Your legal advisers decide what GDPR asks of you, and we build to the answer they give.

Sectors

Who we work with in Dublin.

Technology and European head offices

European head offices need product work that matches a global brand while fitting local rules. We build web apps, mobile apps and internal tools to your existing design system, and work as one accountable team beside your engineers.

Pharmaceuticals and medical devices

These teams need controlled content, careful data handling and a documentation trail. We keep personal data to a minimum, make review and approval steps part of the build, and hand over notes your quality and legal people can follow.

Financial services

Banks, funds and fintechs need secure portals, clear onboarding and reporting people can read. We design authentication and permissions first, then test the flows on real devices so a first time customer is not the one debugging them.

Tourism

Operators and attractions need booking journeys that survive a busy weekend and pages that load on a phone abroad. Speed comes first, the path from intent to confirmation stays short, and every step is measured so drop offs are visible.

Process

Working with OlDevs from Dublin.

  1. Discover

We run remote workshops in your Dublin afternoon, audit what exists, agree the outcomes and the constraints, then write a scope with clear boundaries and a delivery order.

  2. Design

You get wireframes, then interactive designs in the browser. Accessibility, content and data questions are settled at this stage, which is far cheaper than settling them mid build.

  3. Build

One accountable team writes the code and publishes a working demo every week on a private link, so Dublin stakeholders review real software instead of a slide about it.

  4. Launch

We test on devices, run WCAG 2.2 AA checks, connect analytics and consent, then deploy to your chosen Irish or EU region with a tested rollback in place.

  5. Grow

After launch we tune performance, run search, paid, social and lifecycle work, and release improvements in small steps. Code, designs, accounts and IP are yours throughout.

FAQ

Dublin — questions we hear first.

No. The studio is in Vancouver, British Columbia, and we keep no office or staff in Dublin. Dublin projects are delivered remotely with video calls arranged inside your working day, and we fly to Ireland when a workshop, a launch or in person research will move the work forward.

Dublin is eight hours ahead, so your mid to late afternoon is our morning. Live calls, demos and decisions go in that window; specifications, reviews and questions are written down so nothing waits for a meeting. Every enquiry gets an answer within one business day.

Yes. We can host production and backups in Irish or other EU cloud regions, and we list every third party service that processes personal data before launch so your team can approve it. What GDPR requires of your organisation is a call for your own advisers.

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA as our working standard and test keyboard paths, contrast, focus and screen reader behaviour, then give you a written record of what was checked. The European Accessibility Act applies to many consumer digital services from June 2025; your advisers judge how it applies to you.

Web development, web app development, Android and iOS app development, full-stack development, AI development and performance marketing. AI work spans custom machine learning, generative AI and LLMs, natural language, computer vision, automation and agents, and predictive analytics.

Yes. Irish is an official language, so we plan for it from the start: separate content files, correct language attributes, routes that carry the language, and layouts that cope with different word lengths. You supply or commission the translations and we wire them in.
