We agree three to five pillars your audience has already shown interest in, then map them to a rolling calendar so every post has a reason to exist before anyone opens an editor.

OlDevs runs an always-on social media content engine.Short-form vertical video, creator-style content, carousels, stills, captions and community-ready copy, produced on a repeating calendar rather than in one-off bursts. Content is planned around agreed pillars, captured on batch days, edited to each platform's current specification, and scheduled from the client's own accounts. A documented review and approval workflow gives regulated, bilingual and multi-location organisations a dated record of who approved what before anything is published. This is production, not media buying: OlDevs makes the content, while Paid Social buys the placements it runs in. The studio has worked from Vancouver, British Columbia since 2014, and Social Media Production is one discipline within its Performance Marketing service.

Process
Audit & pillars
We read your last six months of posts, the accounts you compete with and the comments under both, then agree the content pillars and formats worth producing on repeat.
Calendar & scripts
A rolling calendar goes out one month ahead with hooks, scripts and shot lists attached, so every capture day has a plan instead of a vague brief.
Batch capture
One capture day produces several weeks of content. We shoot on location, in studio or remotely with your own team, and log everything as it comes in.
Edit & approve
Edits are cut to each platform's current specification, captioned, then sent through the approval queue where your named reviewers comment, request changes and sign off.
Publish & review
Approved posts are scheduled from your accounts, and each month we review what earned attention, retire formats that stalled and adjust the next calendar accordingly.
How we work
This page covers making the content. Buying the placements it runs in is Paid Social, a separate discipline, and the two are quoted and reported separately.
Batching costs your team hours rather than weeks of interruption. One planned capture day is normally enough to cover several weeks of the calendar across the formats agreed in the brief.
Aspect ratios, safe zones, caption placement and length limits change often. We check the current specification of every placement before export rather than trusting last year's template.
Every asset moves through a named reviewer chain with comments, versions and a dated record of who approved what, which is the evidence legal and compliance teams usually want to see.
Head office holds the templates and the approved library. Each location or chapter draws from it, adds local detail and publishes on its own channel without inventing its own brand.
Every video ships with burned-in captions and a caption file, every still carries written alt text, and graphics are checked for colour contrast to WCAG 2.2 AA before scheduling.
Who it's for
Whether the audience is a customer, a member, a citizen or a franchisee's local market, the content has to be on brand, on schedule and defensible.
Multi-market content with brand-safe templates, a documented approval chain and a shared library, so regional teams publish on time without every post reaching the same bottleneck.
Member and public-facing content produced in English and French, captioned and alt-texted to WCAG 2.2 AA, with an exportable record of who approved each post and when.
A head-office content library plus local capture days, so every location posts from the same brand system while still showing its own team, premises and offers.
A founder-led channel that keeps running when the founder is busy: one capture day a month, a filled calendar and scripts short enough to record on a phone.

FAQ
This page is about producing the content; Paid Social is about buying the placements it runs in. Social Media Production fills your calendar with video, carousels, stills and captions on a repeating cycle. Paid Social takes assets, yours or ours, and runs them as campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. Many clients take both, and the same content library feeds each. The two are scoped, quoted and reported separately, so you can see what each is doing.
Volume is agreed in the scope before the first shoot, not left open. Most engagements settle on a monthly calendar built around one capture day, which normally covers several weeks of short-form video plus the carousels and stills that sit between them. You see the calendar a month ahead, so you know what is coming and can swap a slot when something changes.
No. Plenty of accounts run on carousels, stills, screen recordings, motion graphics and creator-supplied footage with nobody from your team appearing. We usually recommend one recurring on-camera presence, because a familiar face gives an account continuity that a logo does not, but it is not a requirement. Where you would rather use external creators, we brief and source them, and usage rights are agreed in writing before filming.
Every asset moves through a named reviewer chain before it can be scheduled. Drafts land in one queue with the caption, the file and the intended publish date together. Reviewers comment on the specific frame or line, request changes or approve, and the record of who approved what is kept and exportable. For multi-location organisations, head office approves the template and the shared library, and each location publishes only from what has cleared.
You do, without exception. Raw footage, project files, edits, scripts, captions and templates are handed to your own storage as each batch closes, and creator usage rights, music licences and model releases are documented with their expiry dates. Your social accounts, scheduling tool and asset library stay in your name, with OlDevs added as a collaborator whose access is removed the day an engagement ends. Nothing produced for you is reused for anyone else.
Against goals agreed before the first shoot, not vanity totals. For each pillar and format we track watch-through and hold rate, saves and shares, profile visits, follows, and the clicks or enquiries that follow. Every post is tagged by pillar, format and hook, so results group by the idea behind a post rather than by file name. Each month you get a review naming what to make more of, what to change and what to stop.
Pricing depends on the number of channels, how many posts a month you need, whether capture days are on location or remote, whether external creators are involved, and whether captions and copy are required in both English and French. Because those vary widely, we scope every engagement individually rather than publishing a rate card. Send a short description of your channels and posting cadence and we will reply within one business day with a recommended scope.
