Challenges we solve for franchises

The problems we are asked to solve most often — and how.

01

Brand drift across locations

Franchisees build their own pages and profiles, and within a year the brand looks different in every city.

Brand standards · Locked templates · Approval workflow · Asset library

02

Location pages that do not rank

A single find-a-location page cannot compete with local rivals who have a dedicated page for every neighbourhood.

Local SEO · LocalBusiness schema · Google Business Profile · Map pack · Citations

03

Leads routed to the wrong place

Enquiries land in a head-office inbox, sit for days, and reach the franchisee after the customer has booked elsewhere.

Lead routing · Territory rules · CRM · Notifications · Response-time tracking

04

Apps built twice

Each region commissions its own app, so customers see three versions of the brand and head office pays for all of them.

Shared app · One API · iOS · Android · Loyalty · Ordering

05

Co-op budgets nobody can account for

Marketing fund contributions go in, campaigns go out, and no franchisee can see what their share actually bought.

Co-op marketing · Budget allocation · Per-location reporting · Transparency

06

Reporting that stops at the network total

Head office sees one number, franchisees see nothing, and nobody knows which location is underperforming or why.

Dashboards · Per-location metrics · Analytics · Data warehouse · Benchmarking

Process

From network audit to rollout

  1. Audit

We review every location's web presence, listings, apps, and reporting, and map the gaps against the brand standard.

  2. Model

Roles, permissions, data flows, and the location template are agreed with head office and a pilot group of franchisees.

  3. Build

Website, portal, apps, and integrations are developed in weekly demoed sprints on a staging environment the pilot group can use.

  4. Pilot

A small set of locations goes live first, so lead routing, reporting, and local search are proven before the network follows.

  5. Roll out and grow

Remaining locations onboard in waves, then local marketing and conversion work runs against per-location results.

How we work

How we build for franchise networks

01

Design the permission model first

Before any screen is drawn, we define what head office, regional managers, and franchisees can see and change, and the code enforces it.

02

One template, many locations

Location pages come from a single locked template with editable local fields, so every page stays on brand and every improvement ships network-wide.

03

Build once, run on one API

Customer apps, franchisee tools, and the website all read from the same API, so a menu, price, or opening-hours change happens once.

04

Treat local search as infrastructure

Every location gets structured data, a synced business profile, and review capture as part of the build, not as an add-on later.

05

Report per location by default

Every metric we track carries a location ID, so network roll-ups and franchisee views come from the same data with no manual spreadsheets.

06

Onboard franchisees inside the product

New locations register themselves, receive their page and dashboard automatically, and follow guided setup instead of a PDF.

FAQ

Franchises — questions we hear first.

Yes. Location pages are built from one locked template that head office owns, with a defined set of local fields, such as hours, team, offers, photos, and service area, that each franchisee can edit within limits. Anything outside those fields, including layout, colours, and core messaging, changes only at head office and ships to every location at once. Optional approval workflows let regional managers review local edits before they go live.

Search engines rank a dedicated, well-structured page for a specific neighbourhood far more readily than a generic store locator. Each location page we build carries LocalBusiness structured data, a unique address, phone number, and opening hours, locally relevant content, and links to and from the matching Google Business Profile. We also add review capture and citation management so the signals stay consistent across the web, and we track rankings and leads per location so you can see which pages need attention.

One app, served by one API. Customers download a single branded app for iOS and Android that detects or lets them choose their nearest location, and every location's menu, pricing, hours, ordering, and loyalty data comes from the same back end that powers the website and the franchisee portal. That means a change is made once, features reach every location on the same day, and head office pays for one product rather than several. Regional variations, such as provincial pricing or bilingual content, are handled as configuration, not separate builds.

We connect ad platforms, analytics, and your CRM to a reporting layer where every campaign, cost, and lead carries a location ID. Head office sees contributions, allocations, and results across the network; each franchisee logs in and sees what their share funded, what it produced in leads and revenue, and how that compares with the network average. Reports run on a schedule, so the transparency question is answered before it is asked.

Yes. Our builds are bilingual-ready from the start, with language handled at the content level so a Quebec location can publish in French, an Ontario location in English, and a bilingual market in both, all from the same template and the same app. Structured data, URLs, and search settings are set per language so each version can rank on its own. Head office keeps one source of truth for brand copy in both languages.

In most cases, yes. We regularly integrate with point-of-sale systems, CRMs, loyalty platforms, booking tools, and franchise management software through their APIs, and where an API does not exist we build a scheduled sync or a secure import. During the Audit stage we list every system in use across the network, confirm what each can expose, and agree the integration plan before the build begins, so there are no surprises at rollout.

It depends on the number of locations, whether you need a franchisee portal and a customer app as well as the website, how many systems we integrate, and whether the build is bilingual, so we scope each network individually rather than quoting a flat rate.
